Brown Ledge is an ACA-accredited residential camp for girls ages 10-17 on Lake Champlain in Vermont. BLC is known for their ‘Freedom of Choice’ philosophy and supportive community that fosters independence and growth. They have a strong Horsemanship program for campers interested in learning to ride or improving their skills, along with 16 other activities including theatre, tennis, archery, boating, and swimming. Freedom of choice means activities run throughout each day, and campers may attend for as long as they want, when they want. Counselors provide quality instruction and guidance. The BLC philosophy offers unlimited opportunity for self-discovery, fun and learning. In addition, BLC operates a robust Junior Counselor leadership program. Over the course of two summers, JC's, ages 15-17, learn valuable teaching, teamwork, and management skills while participating in overnight trips, meaningful work, and flexibility to pursue mastery in activities of their choosing.

Half Moon overnight camp

Camp Kimama Halfmoon is a traditional sleepaway summer camp with 1 and 3 week sessions. Sleepaway camp includes room and board in our cozy wooden bunks, three full meals and endless snacks daily, not to mention a variety of awesome activities. At sleepaway camp, we value creating a home away from home, creating moments and memories that campers never forget.

A small, inclusive camp community, led by a staff of experienced, professional instructors and mature dorm counselors. 3:1 camper/staff ratio. Located at Tilton School in Tilton, NH, a compact and modern campus perfect for an overnight camp community. Maine Arts Camp has exclusive use of the facility, which includes many visual arts & dance studios, a theater, a film photography lab, classrooms for filmmaking, writing, along with several dorms for living spaces. Dorm rooms are generally doubles or triples. Tilton School also has a variety of outdoor spaces for individual sports and more. Some of the spaces at the school are air conditioned.

Maine Teen Camp is a fully elective sleep away camp for teenagers (12 – 17 years), from across the US and around the world.

  • Variety of session lengths: 2, 3, 6 or 7 weeks

  • Device free and close to nature, MTC provides a respite from the stresses of the school year and emphasizes healthy relationships with each other, and with technology.

  • Most of our campers come to MTC without knowing anyone else in camp.

The Story School is an educational nonprofit live-action role-play summer camp located in the woods of Nature’s Classroom in Charlton, MA. A trained staff of educators, game designers, and counselors immerse campers ages 8 - 18 in a an epic adventure story pulled from history, mythology, and literature. By day, our campers become heroes battling fantastical monsters, solving interactive STEM puzzles, and applying roleplaying skills to level up and save the world. By night, our campers play board games, gather around campfires, and build crafts with their roommates forging friendships that last a lifetime. In an open community embracing neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ campers, The Story School weaves together social education, leadership training, and hands-on learning into the fabric of our fantastical adventures. Welcome to Wanakee, a co-ed overnight Methodist camp located in the stunning Lakes Region of New Hampshire! Our week-long sessions cater to campers aged 4-18, providing an affordable summer experience filled with adventure and personal growth. Set on the beautiful shores of Lake Pemigewasset, our camp boasts an impressive waterfront where campers can enjoy swimming, boating, and a variety of water activities in a safe and scenic environment.

At Wanakee, we embrace a small group model, which allows campers to build community while exploring a wide range of program offerings from arts and crafts to high ropes to survival skills. A highlight of our program is our two-week Leader in Training (LIT) program for campers aged 17-18. This enriching experience equips young people with essential leadership skills, offers the opportunity to earn their American Red Cross First Aid and CPR certification, and provides hands-on opportunities to work with children.

West End House Girls Camp (WEHGC) is an overnight summer camp for girls ages 7-17, located in Southern Maine on Wabanaki Confederacy land on the shores of Long Pond. The WEHGC experience is intentionally small, progressively multi-cultural, and 100% camper-focused.

Wildwood Teen Adventure Trips

Immerse campers in the natural wonders of the Northeast’s most beautiful areas. All trips focus on developing a love of the outdoors, and each trip takes a unique approach to welcome teens with a wide variety of interests and levels of outdoor experience. Trip groups are small and co-ed, with two leaders and 6–10 teens per trip.

Teen Adventure Trips begin with a half-day of team-building and orientation at Wildwood Camp. Groups then travel to destinations around the Northeast. Along the way, they'll participate in a variety of outdoor adventures, learn the basics of Leave No Trace camping and trekking, and meet with conservation professionals to participate in hands on environmental study or service. Participants practice hands-on skills in conservation and outdoor living, and develop knowledge of the region's natural history.

Join us this summer at YMCA Camp Foss (historically for girls) located in Strafford, NH and YMCA Camp Mi-Te-Na (historically for boys) located in Alton, NH! Our ACA Accredited camps boast many traditional camp activities including target sports, ziplines, climbing towers, inflatables, arts and crafts, and much more. For over 100 years, our camps have served campers aged 8-15 (enrolling 7-year-olds in our final 2-weeks) from all over New England and worldwide. Our camps offer 1- and 2-weeks sessions, that can be combined to attend longer stays up to 8-weeks.
